A research scientist resigned from a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company to work at a competitor and allegedly stole proprietary research and development information worth millions of dollars. CRA professionals examined the research scientist’s computers, devices, and data using digital forensic techniques. Our team also acquired and interpreted evidence from the company’s data loss prevention system and virtual private network servers; and assisted counsel by providing important evidence and demonstratives that were used to support their litigation strategy. Once presented with the evidence and investigative findings, the scientist cooperated with the pharmaceutical company to return and destroy the research data that was copied.
