On 18 November 2020, the European Commission confirmed that it had closed its antitrust investigation against six insurance broking companies active in aviation and aerospace insurance and reinsurance. The UK’s FCA has initially opened the investigation into claims of potentially unlawful information exchange following dawn raids on five companies active in the sector with the European Commission taking over the investigation. CRA’s Competition consultants provided economic support to defendants in the case.
