CRA worked on behalf of a large mailing list services provider to quantify damages on its claim of breach of contract and misappropriation of trade secrets. The trade secrets involved software algorithms and code used in the processing of mailing list data as well as the use of customer lists to solicit former clients. CRA developed an unjust enrichment damages analysis based upon the income of a competing business started by a former employee in alleged violation of employee noncompete agreements.
