During the preliminary phase of a litigation involving the Lord of the Rings motion picture trilogy, a CRA expert was retained to evaluate the greenlight model used by a New Zealand-based syndicate which provided significant financing for the films. The expert reviewed the functionality and assumptions used in the greenlight model and interviewed personnel who created the model. CRA’s findings ultimately resulted in a favorable settlement for our client.
