CRA advised Google when the FTC initiated an antitrust investigation of Google’s thematic search. CRA’s economic analysis demonstrated that Google’s search innovations are inherently competitive and the changes under investigation benefit the end user. The FTC ultimately chose to close its 19-month investigation.
