A major aluminum company was interested in identifying acquisition targets to build and grow its aluminum castings businesses. The client asked CRA to identify and assess about 20 major US and foreign aluminum casting companies. Our strategy assessed the casting process capabilities of these companies, their technical strengths and weaknesses, and their marketing and product advantages, among various other issues, to calibrate the best three candidates for our client to consider.
