Investigation of vendor kickback scheme at major manufacturing company

CRA’s Elaine Wood was hired by a US company to investigate a vendor kickback scheme organized by the manager of a major manufacturing plant in India. She established proof of fraud and recovered diverted products and stolen property. The manager of the plant was replaced, and new inventory controls instituted. Ms. Wood reviewed and vetted all vendor relationships for the facility.
