The licensing function for a leading worldwide producer of specialty materials was having difficulty managing IP rights and obligations for its large and growing portfolio of license agreements. Charles River Associates was engaged to design, develop, and implement a custom license agreement management database tool to proactively manage the license agreement portfolio. Standardized reports by product, responsible business unit, and licensing manager were provided to assist in managing the agreements. A royalty tracking feature was included to help identify potential underreporting of royalties by licensees.
