A CRA team supported MTN (a mobile network operator in South Africa) in the context of an allegation of margin squeeze and other exclusionary abuses relating to on-net / off-net price differentials (2013 – 2017). This work included the preparation of a number of expert reports explaining the lack of any evidence of anti-competitive effects of the behaviour and in relation to assessing revenues and costs, as well a meeting with the South African Competition Commission (SACC). The SACC ceased its investigation in 2017
