Tiago Duarte-Silva was engaged as expert and provided expert reports in a commercial arbitration on behalf of one of the world’s largest oil & gas exploration companies against a provider of equipment and services for exploration and development of an offshore gas field. The matter concerned the construction and subsequent exploration of an offshore natural gas field. We calculated total monetary value of various claims related to costs incurred by the client and lost profits. Total costs associated with drillships and associated support services exceeded $1.2 billion.
