CRA conducted a survey research study to define the relevant market for certain types of trade shows and the degree of competition between specific ones. CRA designed the sampling approach and survey questionnaire, collected the relevant survey data from the sampled respondents, and conducted statistical analyses used as the basis to form opinions on the competitive relationships between the shows and whether certain ones detracted from the commercial success of others. At trial, CRA expert’s testimony helped lead to a favorable settlement for its client prior to the verdict being returned.
