CRA’s Forensic Services Practice was engaged by a bankruptcy trustee at Jenner & Block to track a celebrity’s cryptocurrency transactions across multiple exchanges and identify cryptocurrency assets that could be used to satisfy creditors. We successfully reconstructed trading activity and located, secured, and monetized available assets. The matter concluded successfully by Court order. The investigation was led by Forensics Services Vice President and Practice Leader Kristofer Swanson, with invaluable assistance from Principals Patricia Peláez and Daniel William.
