The International Industrial Organization Conference (IIOC) will be held over three days and hosted by the Department of Economics at Northeastern University. The conference will feature panel discussions and contributed sessions covering a broad range of topics in industrial organization, including antitrust economics and regulation.
CRA is sponsoring the “Merger Efficiencies” session, which will be co-chaired by CRA’s Mary Beth Savio. The session will feature four papers addressing emerging issues affecting pharmaceuticals, nursing homes, tech firms, and the space launch industry.
CRA’s Peggy Loudermilk will chair the “Merger Thresholds” session and present a co-authored paper titled “Merger Screening Thresholds under Model Uncertainty.” She will also serve as a discussant in the “Merger Remedies” session.
CRA’s Federico Navarra will present a co-authored paper titled “Sharing is (not) caring: strategic information disclosure and platform’s business model” in the “Platform Design: Supply‑Side Incentives” session and also will serve as a discussant in the “Platform Design: Pricing” session.
