CRA is hosting a roundtable discussion with Dr Kerry Brown, author and Professor of Chinese Studies at Kings College and Director of the Lau China Institute. Former British diplomat, Dr Brown worked as First Secretary at the British Embassy in Beijing, and then as Head of the Indonesia, Philippine and East Timor Section. Dr Brown is a regular press commentator and a published author of over ten books on modern Chinese politics, history and language.
Dr Brown will provide a briefing on current issues relating to US & China trade relationships and the future of this relationship under Trump and Biden. Following introductory remarks by Dr Brown, we will have questions and answers from the roundtable. Attendees are welcome to submit questions ahead of the briefing.
