Ozgur Kan presents the program, entitled “Calculation of Losses in Third-Party Financing in Accordance with Islamic Law and Recent Developments”, participants will examine different methods of damages calculation; including cost, market/precedent and income approaches, how these methods are applied in litigation based on concrete examples, and topics such as riba (interest). This session will provide insights on emerging trends such as securitization, sukuk-based financing and tokenization, drawing on information shared during the online sessions held in November, and will offer participants an active discussion forum. Through these sessions, participants will gain a comprehensive and holistic perspective on how strategic, financial and ethical issues intersect in international arbitration.
