Dr. Michaelyn Corbett was part of a group of 18 lawyers and economists who contributed written comments on “Non-competes in the workplace: Examining antitrust and consumer protection issues” on behalf of the Antitrust Law Section of the American Bar Association.
The written comments were in response to a public workshop hosted by US Federal Trade Commission on January 9, 2020, in Washington, DC, to examine whether there is sufficient legal basis and empirical economic support to promulgate a Commission Rule that would restrict the use of non-compete clauses in employment contracts.
