Alexey Sinyashin

Associate Principal

Dr. Alexey Sinyashin is an associate principal in the Antitrust & Competition Practice of CRA, where his work focuses on merger analysis and antitrust litigation.

Dr. Sinyashin has extensive experience analyzing economic issues related to horizontal and non-horizontal mergers and antitrust litigations involving claims of monopolization in a wide range of industries including retail, manufacturing, online platforms, biotechnologies, and petroleum products.

Dr. Sinyashin earned his PhD at UC Berkeley, where he specialized in Industrial Organization and Applied Microeconomics. His doctoral dissertation, which analyzed the design of consumer subsidies and other policies for electric vehicles in the US, was a winner of the INFORMS Society for Marketing Science Doctoral Dissertation Award.
