David Shin is a vice president in the Forensic Services Practice. He is a seasoned leader with more than two decades of experience, with a focus on helping clients navigate complex eDiscovery and digital forensic investigations.

Mr. Shin brings a proven track record of helping organizations in times of crisis. He is a trusted partner to clients, providing critical support and strategic guidance during complex, high-stakes litigation and investigations. His deep expertise spans the full range of eDiscovery offerings and enterprise-wide computer forensic investigations.

Before joining CRA, Mr. Shin spent 17 years at a big four professional services firm, where he was a partner in the Forensic Technology Practice. There, he led hundreds of engagements for some of the firm’s largest and most important clients, providing strategic eDiscovery and digital forensic services on their most complex matters. He was also instrumental in building the firm’s forensic technology capabilities, mentoring team members, and driving practice efficiencies.

Early in his career, Mr. Shin was responsible for training computer forensics examiners and eDiscovery practitioners globally for a business segment that provided expert services and support related to their EnCase software.
