Dominik Welter

Associate Principal

Dr. Dominik Welter is an associate principal at the European Competition Practice of Charles River Associates. He has extensive experience in damages proceedings and abuse of market power cases.

Prior to joining CRA, Dominik worked in the Dusseldorf office of an economic consultancy specialized in competition policy. He received his doctorate from the University of Bayreuth, where he subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher.

Dominik’s research focuses on the interplay between private antitrust enforcement and effective competition. His academic work has been published in scientific journals including the International Journal of Industrial Organization and the Journal of Institutional and Theoretical Economics.

His working languages are German and English.
