Hitesh Makhija is a vice president in the Antitrust & Competition Practice, specializing in antitrust economics and industrial organization.

He has extensive experience leading teams of economists and conducting sophisticated economic and financial analyses in merger- and antitrust-related litigation. He has lent his expertise to antitrust cases and mergers in the semiconductor, airline, automobile, software, retail, and broadcasting industries.  

In antitrust cases, Mr. Makhija has supported academic experts and led consulting teams in all phases of the litigation process. He has provided evidence to regulators in the US, Canada, and Europe. Mr. Makhija has worked with several Fortune 100 companies to assess the antitrust risk associated with their business decisions. 

Hitesh received his undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, his Master’s in Economics from New York University.
