Sam Agarwal
Sam Agarwal is an associate principal in the Finance Practice at CRA. He has supported clients in a variety of litigation areas, including securities, insurance, and enforcement actions.
Sam has worked extensively in securities class action litigation, conducting event studies, loss causation, damages, and settlement analysis. He also has experience in valuation of structured products in insurance class action, in the analysis of trading strategies of investment managers, in assessing disgorgement of short-swing profits, and in evaluating breach of contract claims in M&A litigation.
Sam holds a PhD in Finance from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where his research focused on bank and non-bank financial institutions, and market microstructure. He has published an article in The Journal of Banking and Finance, one of the top peer-reviewed academic journals in Finance.
