CRA advanced analytics was hired by a pharmaceutical company to develop in-depth understanding of influencers networks among physicians, hospitals and systems to prioritize marketing resources. By leveraging patient-level claim data, we were able to identify key influential healthcare providers by analysing their referral and treatment patterns, to supplement the client’s more traditional “KOL” (academic) identification approach. The target list generated by CRA team increased total number of physicians that could refer patients to clinical trial sites by 3x, had a meaningful impact on speeding up Phase III studies.
