CRA provides economic damages analysis in insurance industry employee raiding matter

Silhouette shadows of business people talking in office

CRA experts were retained on behalf of the Plaintiffs to evaluate economic damages in a matter involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference, and civil conspiracy claims related to the purported illicit raid of a specialty insurance business unit.

Our team performed several types of financial analyses, including evaluating the historical results of the specific business unit, the forecasted performance of the business unit, the historical results of the employees that departed from the specific business unit (including specific customers and types of policies sold), the performance of the specific employees at the Defendant, and the results of the specific business unit compared to other market participants. Our team also calculated the enterprise value of the specific business unit prior to the departures of the specific employees.

This is one of several employee raiding matters our Risk, Investigations & Analytics team has worked on in the insurance industry.
