Chris has more than 30 years of experience providing economic, financial, and accounting advisory services to companies, legal counsel, regulatory authorities and tribunals involved in transactions, investigations and disputes.
An internationally recognized advisor and economic damages expert, Chris has expertise matters relating to intellectual property, ITC investigations and a wide array of commercial litigation matters including, breach of contract, business interruption, tortious interference, merger termination, failed systems implementation, price discrimination and False Claims Act matters. Chris also has experience in evaluating state and municipal level appropriations, economic damages and abatement costs in discriminatory mortgage foreclosure and opioid-related matters.

Prior to joining CRA, Chris was a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting where he was the co-leader of FTI’s Intellectual Property Practice and later the co-leader of FTI’s Dispute Advisory Services Practice. Prior to FTI, he was a Partner in KPMG’s Forensic Services practice and began his professional career at Coopers & Lybrand.
Chris has been recognized as a “Highly Recommended” expert in patent damages in the 2015 through 2023 editions of the IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals. IAM’s 2022 survey noted that “Christopher is an incredibly well-versed, experienced, bright guy when it comes to IP. There is always a well-conceived methodology and analytical process to his work. He is outstanding.” The 2023 survey noted that “Christopher is a great partner to have in IP cases; he knows the merits issues and takes a common-sense approach toward damages. He is also a member of the Sedona Conference’s Trade Secrets Working Group and serve as a contributing editor for The Sedona Conference Commentary on Monetary Remedies in Trade Secret Litigation. He is a regular speaker on the topic of patent, trade secret, and commercial economic damages.
Chris has provided oral and written expert evidence in matters before multiple U.S. federal and state courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and multiple international arbitration forums including ICC, LCIA, DIFC-LCIA, and AAA.
