CRA was retained by a non-profit state bar association in a single plaintiff matter to provide expert testimony on how labor markets work and which factors impact the pay of individual employees, and to analyze the pay of an employee claiming damages under the Equal Pay Act. CRA’s labor economics expert summarized the economic theory and empirical literature regarding market wages outlining how pay is established within and across organizations. A written report was filed and the case was dismissed after the court granted the client’s motion for summary judgment.
