A CRA consultant served as an expert witness for a major automobile manufacturer alleged by a franchised dealer to utilize a sales performance metric that was unreasonable, arbitrary and unfair. The CRA team evaluated the derivation and application of the sales performance metric; utilized econometric and statistical testing to determine the degree to which the metric was empirically derived and statistically sound; and analyzed dealer performance as measured by the metric over multiple years.
