CRA’s labor economists teamed with Michael Campion, an industrial organization psychologist and Chaired Professor of Management at Purdue University, to provide validation on the statistical reliability of an annual employment test for the hiring and continued employment of security officers by a national hospitality group. The project team standardized testing data over a four-year period and resolved identified data integrity issues. To assess whether the test resulted in adverse impact on the basis of gender, race/ethnicity, age, or intersectionality of gender and age, CRA’s experts prepared a report that presented the results of five analyses designed to understand subgroup differences in performance.
