Two leading North American suppliers of newsprint and commercial papers (Abitibi-Consolidated Inc. and Bowater Inc.) retained CRA to prepare economic analyses for Canadian and US antitrust agencies. CRA experts undertook econometric analysis to address the relevant market issue. The merger was allowed to proceed with one newsprint mill divestiture in the US.
