As part of a long-running monitorship engagement, Peter Woglom led a team which sought to understand to what extent an overseas technology company continued to exert influence and control over certain subsidiaries in which it reportedly gave up controlling stakes or had completely divested. Through extensive corporate structure and shareholder mapping, combined with data analytics and visualization tools, the team was able to gather information critical to the team’s assessments around control and exposure to business operations in sanctioned jurisdictions.
