CRA experts submitted testimony on market design issues before the Alberta Utilities Commission and on behalf of the Alberta Market Surveillance Administrator. Experts’ testimony addressed a range of issues related to proposed capacity market design rules, including market power monitoring and mitigation, demand curve design, and concurrent energy market reforms. Mr. Russo ultimately testified, in person, before the Alberta Utilities Commission as part of hearings related to the ultimate structure and fate of the capacity market as proposed.
