CRA is a hosting a webinar with leading Gulf economists Rory Fyfe and Justin Alexander. Rory Fyfe was formerly the Head of Economics at QNB, the largest bank in the Middle East and Africa. He is a specialist on Qatar’s economy, having spent seven years working there and has also worked extensively across the rest of the Middle East from Saudi Arabia to Syria. Justin Alexander was formerly an advisor to the Minister of Finance in Qatar. He has worked in the Middle East for over 20 years, living in Jordan, Iraq and Qatar, and working for QNB, the Economist Intelligence Unit and the UN Assistance Mission in Iraq, amongst others. Mr. Fyfe and Mr. Alexander will provide insight on the Gulf economies including the implications of the Biden presidency for the oil sector and his relationship with Saudi over human rights as well as the region’s recovery from COVID.
