Sean May and Monica Noether published an article entitled “Unresolved Questions Relating to Market Definition in Hospital Mergers,” in the Fall 2014 issue of The Antitrust Bulletin. The article discusses remaining controversies related to both product and geographic dimensions of market definition in hospital mergers and why a traditional interpretation of hospital product markets may be inconsistent with the ongoing evolution of how health care is delivered.
