Mr. Fortenbaugh has worked extensively with external and in-house counsel regarding complex labor and employment issues.

Primarily focused upon wage and hour class action matters, he also has experience in wrongful termination issues, modeling of collective bargaining agreements, and other data-intensive analyses.

His expertise includes design and performance of observational studies as well as detailed analysis of large complex data sets to explain class certification issues, perform liability and damage calculations, and provide post-settlement distribution assistance. Additionally, as a former insurance regulator, Mr. Fortenbaugh has a deep background in financial oversight, audit/examination, and operations of insurance carriers. He has provided oral and written testimony in mediation and arbitration in both state and federal court.
