David Duski has nearly two decades of experience providing economic consulting, litigation and licensing support, and damages expert testimony on various intellectual property matters across a broad range of industries.
Throughout his career, Mr. Duski has provided dispute resolution services for cases involving patent infringement, trademark infringement, trade secret misappropriation, copyright infringement, false advertising, false designation or origin, breach of contract, business interruption, legal malpractice, and product liability, among others. He has served as an expert witness in matters filed in US district courts, state courts, and before the American Arbitration Association.
He has worked across multiple industries including: automotive, aviation, banking, biotechnology, cellular, chemicals, construction, consumer products, cryptocurrency, energy, financial securities, healthcare, HVAC, information technology, internet, medical products, military, network security, online learning, optical, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, sporting goods, supercomputers, telecommunications, and wine.
Mr. Duski has lectured on the topic of intellectual property damages at John Marshall Law School, Loyola University Chicago School of Law, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago. He has been designated as a leading expert witness by the IAM Patent 1000—The World’s Leading Patent Professionals every year since 2019 and also has been recognized as a leading IP strategist by the IAM Strategy 300 and a Recommended Expert Witness by Who’s Who Legal: IP, both in 2023.
Prior to joining CRA, he led a national intellectual property consulting practice for a global public accounting and advisory firm.
