Eyal Dvir
Dr. Eyal Dvir is a principal in CRA’s Competition & Antitrust Economics Practice and an economist with deep expertise in financial and commodity markets.
Dr. Dvir applies economic theory, econometrics, and quantitative finance techniques to complex litigation and damages analyses, with experience across matters involving market manipulation, monopolization, price fixing, tying, breach of contract, and related claims. His work spans a wide range of financial and commodity markets, including equities, debt instruments, derivatives, foreign exchange, precious metals, energy, base metals, natural gas, and chemicals.
He has advised clients in matters before US federal and state courts, arbitration panels, and in international courts, including Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Israel, and Malaysia. Dr. Dvir has also assisted clients in merger investigations conducted by the US Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, the Canadian Competition Bureau, and the European Commission.
Prior to joining CRA, he served as an Assistant Professor at Boston College, where he taught graduate and undergraduate courses in international finance and trade. His academic research on international financial markets and macroeconomics has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of International Economics and the Journal of International Money and Finance.
