CRA was retained by a leading national research university in a breach of contract dispute with a licensee of certain university patent rights related to a microarray technology. CRA provided a report and deposition testimony on the issue of economic damages. CRA’s damages analysis included the calculation of lost royalty revenue and additional lost revenues arising from the sale of the university patent rights to a third party.
