Assisted counsel in contract dispute in arbitration

CRA assisted counsel to Valmet Inc., a global developer and supplier of technologies, automation, and services for the pulp, paper, and energy industries, in a contract dispute in an arbitration before the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce wherein it won dismissal on liability grounds.

CRA assisted counsel in the economic analysis of merits issues and offered expert opinions on causation, statistical issues, lost profits damages, and mitigation of damages arising from alleged breach of contract in the design and performance of equipment used in manufacturing paper. The team was led by CRA Vice Presidents Dr. Tim Snail and Geoff Senogles, and included Trevor Slack, Selina Luu, James Dunning, Gregory Kozemchak, and Daniel Ladd.
