For Liberty Utilities Company, CRA’s Energy Practice supported the development of the business and regulatory case for a proposed advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) investment. CRA developed a comprehensive cost-benefit analysis that evaluated the impacts of AMI across the utility’s operations, including metering, customer service, field operations, and other areas affected by the investment. The analysis quantified expected costs and benefits, tested key assumptions and sensitivities, and assessed the overall customer value proposition. CRA also supported the regulatory filing and provided expert testimony on the AMI business case, cost-benefit analysis, and expected customer benefits.
