CRA experts advised Defendants in a class action wage and hour dispute in the over the road trucking industry. Plaintiffs claimed that they were only paid for driving and therefore all other activities were unpaid (and therefore violations of the minimum wage). Kristen Backor and Matthew Thompson provided rebuttal testimony of damages calculations as well as rebuttal of Plaintiffs’ survey expert. The case ultimately resulted in a settlement.
