Our Risk, Investigations & Analytics team assisted pro bono counsel with a Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act (DVSJA) matter involving a woman serving a 20-year sentence for her involvement in the death of her former abuser.
Our investigators assisted with identifying and locating our client’s former landlord, neighbors, employer, and friends during the time period of the abuse in order for counsel to be able to obtain witness statements in their effort to obtain a reduced sentence for the client.
