CRA provided expert testimony on damages/reasonable royalties on behalf of the plaintiff Sprint Communications in this case involving alleged infringement of Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) patents. The technology provided the ability to eliminate reliance on conventional public switches and switch-to-switch call processing by using computer network-controlled packet-based call processing systems. The jury awarded our client $69.5 million in damages and ongoing royalties of 5%.
