CRA was retained by counsel on behalf of two US subsidiaries of a global tire manufacturer and distributor in connection with an investor-state dispute settlement matter against the Republic of Panama. A team of CRA economists prepared financial analyses of the subject trademarks in Panama and surrounding regions using discounted cash flow models to quantify the decreased value of the subject trademark rights, rebutted opinions offered by the opposing expert, and provided testimony at the arbitration hearing.
