A CRA expert was retained to advise an ethanol producer on a commercialization strategy for a newly developed patented cellulosic ethanol process technology it had developed, which increased ethanol yield and the value of byproduct distiller grains used in livestock feed. CRA prepared a valuation and commercialization business case to identify incremental value throughout the value chain, including the impact of current and potential future renewable fuel credits.
