CRA is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin Williams as an academic affiliate in the firm’s Antitrust & Competition Economics Practice.

“Kevin is a leading authority on pricing dynamics and firm decision-making in the real-world setting of demand and competitive uncertainty,” said Margaret Sanderson, Vice President and Global Practice Leader of the Antitrust & Competition Economics Practice at CRA. “As dynamic pricing becomes increasingly central to industries such as travel, transportation, e-commerce, and energy, his expertise will be critical for helping our clients in regulatory and litigation matters address firm pricing behavior, competitive dynamics, and market outcomes.”
In addition to being a Professor of Economics at the Yale School of Management and an affiliated faculty member of Yale’s Department of Economics, he is also a research staff member of the Cowles Foundation; a faculty fellow at the Center for Algorithms, Data, and Market Design; and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
His work has been published in leading economics journals such as the American Economic Review, Econometrica, and the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and has been widely covered in major media outlets. Professor Williams has also made numerous, high-profile presentations of his research to policy and enforcement audiences.
Professor Williams has a BA in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and an MA and a PhD in Economics from the University of Minnesota.
