Elahd Toam is a principal in CRA’s Financial Markets practice.

Mr. Toam has consulted to financial institutions, corporations, government agencies, and law firms on a variety of matters involving issues of value and valuation, credit risk and solvency, economic damage, corporate finance, insurance economics, market abuse, and financial market custom and practice.

Mr. Toam has provided valuation services related to assets, securities, and complex financial instruments for litigation support, tax planning, financial reporting, and decision-making purposes. He has also applied his valuation expertise in commercial and investment disputes to quantify lost profits and unjust enrichment. He has developed analyses evaluating the credit risk and solvency of firms operating in a variety of industries as part of advisory and litigation engagements. In addition, he has analyzed trading activities to evaluate allegations of fraud and failures to provide best execution. 

Mr. Toam has provided consulting services in connection with disputes in a variety of arbitration forums and federal, state, and tax courts. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
