Jose Manzo

Mr. Manzo assists on a variety of cases evaluating claims under the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA), state specific claims, and claims under California’s Private Attorneys Geneal Act (PAGA). He has worked with clients in a variety of industries including healthcare, retail, food service, and manufacturing. He works with the client to collect the data necessary to assess meal and rest break violations, rounding, regular rate of pay miscalculations, unpaid overtime, and misclassification claims as well as internal company pay audits.

Mr. Manzo has extensive experience in preparing and evaluating the accuracy and completeness of large datasets. He constructs data suitable for statistical analysis and damages calculations and builds interactive exposure workbooks to help counsel assess the potential liability and prepare for mediation. He also assesses the accuracy and validity of plaintiff’s analyses and exposure estimates.

Mr. Manzo has over a decade of experience evaluating labor and employment claims. Prior to joining the industry, he was a full-time student at the University of California, Los Angeles where he majored in Applied Mathematics.
