CRA’s Quenton Wright was engaged to assess discrimination claims filed on behalf of 17,000 female putative class members employed by a Fortune 50 entertainment company. Historical data was extracted from more than 30 HR tables and consolidated to track the employment life cycle of 36,000 relevant persons across two Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and one Applicant Tracking System (ATS). CRA used the data to identify whether gender differences in current salary, starting salary, merit increases, promotion increases, annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and promotions showed statistical differences between men and women. The larger of two classes was dismissed, and the case subsequently settled.
