CRA’s Dr. Mario Lopez served as an independent valuation expert for Chinese consumer electronics maker Oppo, in a dispute with InterDigital regarding the Fair, Reasonable and Non-Discriminatory (FRAND) terms for a global license to InterDigital’s portfolio of cellular standard essential patents (SEPs).
Dr. Lopez delivered expert testimony at the UK High Court of England and Wales prior to the parties reaching a settlement. A team from CRA, led by Nadia Soboleva, collaborated with legal counsel from Taylor Wessing, including Michael Washbrook and Xuyang Zhu.
