CRA’s Intellectual Property experts were retained by a global medical technology and consumer electronics company, to evaluate the economic prong of domestic industry, commercial success, bond, and public interest issues in an ITC Section 337 investigation involving patented sensors used to monitor physiological parameters. A CRA expert testified at trial on the significance of domestic investments in plant, equipment, labor, capital, and R&D at three U.S. facilities. Consistent with CRA’s expert conclusions, the ALJ and Commission found that our client, the complainant, had established a domestic industry and issued an exclusion order on respondent’s accused products sold in the U.S.
