CRA experts provided testimony on behalf of NorthShore University HealthSystem (formerly Evanston Northwestern Healthcare) in the FTC’s challenge of its acquisition of Highland Park Hospital. CRA analyses demonstrated that post-acquisition price increases at the hospitals could not be linked to the FTC’s claims of market power enhancement. The FTC ultimately chose not to order divestiture of the acquired hospital
